Oxfam Timor Leste is seeking a national staff for 1(one) Position: Deputy Program Manager – Resilience and Humanitarian

Deputy Program Manager – Resilience and Humanitarian

The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) – Resilience and Humanitarian Preparedness will lead the achievement of the Haforsa program’s outputs under objective 2 (strengthening resilience), and for overall oversight and leadership for the Humanitarian Preparedness Program. This will be achieved by leading in the implementation of the program strategy within these areas, maintaining positive partnerships with a portfolio of partners, and further strategic development of the Oxfam program in Timor Leste.

· At least 5-7 years’ experience in implementing or supporting partner to implement resilience and/or humanitarian preparedness and response projects;
· Experience and knowledge of Disaster Risk Reduction strategies and Climate Change Adaption approaches; · Experience and understanding of savings and loan approaches, particularly Saving for Change, Village Saving and Loan Association or similar models; · Knowledge of program planning including gender awareness and analysis; · Experience supporting and monitoring partners; · Knowledge and commitment to adhere to the Red Cross and NGO Code of Conduct, Oxfam Code of Conduct, People in Aid Code of Good Practice and Sphere relief standards; and · Desirable: Degree in rural development, environmental sciences, or related field.
